Acquisition of DataCenter Finland by Adelis Equity Partners

DataCenter Finland (DCF), rebranded as Valtti, an IT infrastructure and cloud services provider, has sold a majority stake to Adelis Equity Partners. Adelis acquired shares from the former majority owner of DCF, Sontek Oy, as well as from other shareholders and invested in the company through private offering. DataCenter Finland employs c. 80 persons and the Company’s revenue was 24 million euros in 2018 with over 90% recurring revenue. Having grown into Finland’s leading independent cloud provider organically and through acquisitions in recent years, DCF now aims to accelerate its growth into the leading Finnish IT services provider focusing on mid-sized companies, supported by Adelis. DCF’s goal is to continue growing by investing heavily in its own organization and by pursuing further acquisitions. Earlier, the Company has invested significantly into its operations by building a strong IT infrastructure and cloud services focused organization and by building two modern datacenters. Adelis becomes the majority owner of DCF through the transaction. The Company’s current owners, including management, will remain as significant owners.
