Sale of Solidabis Solutions to Visma Consulting
Visma Consulting Oy will acquire one of Finland’s fastest-growing software development companies, Solidabis Solutions Oy. With the transaction, Visma strengthens its position in the Finnish software development market. Solidabis Solutions provides software development, user experience design and process development services to large corporations and public sector organizations in Finland. The company had revenues of over 7 million euros in 2021. In the same year, Solidabis ranked 26th in a survey on fastest-growing IT-companies in Finland, conducted by Tivi. The company employs about 80 persons and has offices in Helsinki, Kaarina and Oulu.After the transaction, Solidabis continues as an independent part of a new company that was formed as Visma sold its IT consulting business to private equity investor CVC in June 2022. The transaction will have no effect on Solidabis Solutions’ customers or personnel. The companies already have a strong position in the software development market, and together they will be able to offer services even more extensively than before. Solidabis provides Visma with top expertise in Finland especially in the fields of user experience design, process development and automation. Visma Consulting is a service company focusing on IT consulting and software solutions that provides e.g. service design, digital services, tailored IT solutions and artificial intelligence solutions to Finland-based corporations and public sector organizations. The company had sales of over 70 million euros in 2021. Visma Consulting is part of the Nordic Visma Group that provides business critical software and services. In addition to Northern Europe, Visma Group also operates in Central and Eastern Europe, the Benelux Countries and Latin America and employs a total of 15,000 persons. In 2021, the group achieved a turnover of approximately 2.1 billion euros.
