Acquisition of the Metso Paper Composite Roll Manufacturing Business by Xperion GmbH

The German company Xperion GmbH, which is a pioneer and technology leader in carbon composites, has bought the assets of the Metso Paper’s composite roll manufacturing plant in Oulu. At the time of the transaction, the factory in Oulu produced about 200 rolls per year to the worldwide paper industry, with the personnel including 20 persons. The composite factory is located in the same facility as the Metso Paper rubber coating plant.

With this acquisition Xperion strengthens its position as one of the leading in composite products for the paper industry.
