The Swedish Bygghemma AB strengthens its position in the Nordic home renovation and decoration market by acquiring Talotarvike.com.

Talotarvike offers a wide range of high quality products for renovating, decorating and building. The company has been growing steadily despite the challenging market situation and achieved position as one of the leading player in pure online based hardware retailing in Finland.

Bygghemma is a strongly growing Nordic online store within the DIY home renovation and decoration sector. In addition to Sweden, it has operations also in Finland, Denmark and Norway. The Bygghemma Group had a turnover of circa 2 billion SEK at the time of the transaction. Its majority owner is a private equity company Nordstjernan AB.
