Sale of OIKIO Digital Performance Agency to Triton-owned Fonecta
On 30 April 2021 Fonecta, one of Finland’s leading digital marketing solutions providers, acquired OIKIO Digital Performance Agency (“OIKIO”). Through the transaction, Fonecta will strengthen its digital marketing solutions competence and position in the Finnish market. Terms and conditions of the transaction are not disclosed.
Founded in 2016 and based in Helsinki, OIKIO offers digital marketing solutions to some of the most significant Finnish B2B and B2C companies operating in a variety of industries operating globally and locally. With its innovative approach to improving customers’ digital marketing performance and proprietary technology, OIKIO is one of the fastest-growing digital marketing companies in Finland. The Company has been awarded “Digital Marketing Agency of the Year” three years in a row. Since inception, the Company has grown its sales to EUR 6mn with a Net Promoter Score of +90, with employing more than 30 deep-knowledge experts.
OIKIO’s offering is highly complementary to Fonecta’s more demanding enterprise customers and could also strengthen Fonecta’s offering to smaller customers. OIKIO will continue as a stand-alone brand and independent company as part of the Fonecta group, and its founders will continue at the Company’s service.
